Stick on passes were supplied by Queens tour manager for use by
non touring staff for individual shows. The passes would be the same or
similar to the image and graphics used on laminated staff passes and distributed
to people such as local stage crew, piano tuner, caterers, security, concessions,
building staff and guests -and would not have any stage or dressing room
access. They were often different colours, numbered, stamped or written
on to avoid problems when doing multiple shows in one city or area, and
any other breach of access.
However, sometimes, particularly in America the local promoters would
produce their own stick on and occasional laminated passes. These would
be used for the local people as already described.
Queens own official Tour Passes would always overrule promoters
passes, and laminates were top of the tree.
